I met Olivia’s parents when she was just a bump in her beautiful mama Leslie’s belly last year, and now she’s well on her way to being one! We met up at Leslie’s parents’ home for a morning session in their picturesque backyard, and she was a little angel. She’s such a happy girl with an adorable smile, and it’s been a joy watching her grow over the past 6 months!
I’ve been photographing this babe’s parents (and puppy brother) since well before she was around, and it’s been such an honor to be invited to document her first year of life! Lucy is always such a darling little angel to work with, and her 1st birthday session was no exception! Other than the minor mishap of her giant gold 1 balloon floating off into the distance just as we started shooting, we had a fun time romping around the grounds of the Dunwoody Nature Center one morning earlier this summer. I just adore her big blue eyes, little blonde curls, and happy personality. Happy belated 1st birthday, Lucy! You’re such a sweet treasure and blessing to your parents!
Miss Sally turned 3 months old this summer, and I had a lovely morning photographing her and her parents at their home. Her nursery was so darling – outfitted with a bit of woodland creatures and soft pink colors. Sally was born on St. Patrick’s Day, so we incorporated a little ceramic clover cup in honor of her special holiday birthdate. I love it when families have sentimental or special items to include in their sessions. And I’m still daydreaming of having an amazing backyard like theirs… I could have stayed there all day! 🙂 
My baby turned ONE on September 10th. How can that be? I meant to post these over her birthday weekend, but we sort of had a lot going on… 🙂
The past year has flown by in the blink of an eye, and I wouldn’t trade a second for anything in the world. We had the most amazing weekend full of fun celebrations, both with just our little family and with all of our friends and immediate family members. Her circus birthday party was a success and we all had a wonderful time celebrating our little girl. She continually brings so much laughter and joy to our lives, and we look forward to what this next year of toddlerhood will bring! I’m sure it’ll be nothing short of a whirlwind adventure with this little firecracker!

Photographing friends will simply never, ever get old. The Robson Family was picture perfect during the session at their home this summer, and their kiddos are just too cute for words. And even though it was about 900 degrees outside, you’d never have known it! How does Kate’s hair always look so good? 🙂 It was so sweet watching big brother love on his little sister. I look forward to watching them grow up together!
