Well… to be accurate, it’s actually a family of two super heroes and one villain. 😉 When I received an email asking to redeem this photo session won at a local auction, I was excited to meet this family of three. And when Mom asked if they could dress as super heroes, I knew I was in for a treat! These dress-up photo sessions have become somewhat of a yearly tradition for them, and I was honored to photograph Wonder Woman (x2) and Ultron.  They were busy battling each other for much of the shoot, but they did take a break every now and then to give me some sweet smiles. 🙂 Enjoy these highlights!

Lucy’s parents have been loyal clients of mine since their only baby was a little pup named Tuck. It’s been a joy and an honor to watch their little family grow, and I just can’t get over the fact that Lucy is already two! I still vividly remember photographing her newborn session, and now here she is with the sweetest personality and most beautiful curly hair… a full-on little girl. Happy (belated) 2nd birthday, Lucy! You are so loved.

Kieran’s Fresh 48 – Northside Hospital | Atlanta Newborn Photographer

Kieran Patrick was born on August 7th, weighing 8lbs 6oz, and he is the absolute perfect addition to his family. The next afternoon, I headed to Northside Hospital to photograph my very first Fresh 48 session, and it was a total dream. Kieran has a 10-year-old big brother who was the sweetest with him and kept asking when it would be his turn to hold him for photos. It’s pretty obvious that it was love at first sight for all members of this family!

This type of session was new to me and one I’ve been excited to try out for some time now. I’m so thankful to this sweet family who welcomed me into their little circle to document this momentous time in their lives. Brand new love… pure and simple. Welcome to the world, Kieran!

Ashley and Scott are expecting their first baby in September — a sweet little boy named Wells, in honor of Ashley’s beloved grandfather. We had such a lovely evening photographing this maternity session — perfect weather, perfect location, and an adorably sweet, fun couple. Ellis’ 1 Year Milestone Session – Buckhead | Atlanta Childrens Photographer

Where to even start with this little guy? I have all the heart eyes for Ellis. He is the son of two of our best friends, and he is just as handsome and happy as they come. It was sort of bittersweet to round out his year of photos, because who wouldn’t want to have this guy on their regular shooting schedule?! He is a joy to photograph and be around, as is obvious from these photos. His parents threw him a baseball-themed 1st birthday party last weekend, so we shot this session with a neighborhood softball field in the background to tie in their theme. We ended with a cake smash, and Ellis was hands-down the best cake smasher I’ve ever photographed. Enjoy these 1st birthday session favorites!
