October Holiday Mini Sessions, Part 1 – Lenox Park | Atlanta Family Photographer

Ahhh fall… the most wonderful time of the year, and also the busiest for family photographers. I feel like I’ve spent every waking moment shooting and editing and sharing fall sessions, and I can’t complain one bit. I love what I do, and I am thankful that I get to do what I love every day. Here’s a little peek at what I’ve been up to recently… first up, some minis from Lenox Park last month. It was so fun to see how much some of these kids have grown since our last session together. I also love including fur babies, as I know how very important they are to families (mine included). With each passing year of business, I’m more and more grateful for my dear clients who have trusted me to capture their beautiful families. Enjoy these highlights and many more to come!

Anna Blair’s Fresh 48 – Northside Hospital | Atlanta Newborn Photographer

Anna Blair joined her family in October and was the third child, but first girl — and best of all, it was a surprise!  It was truly a joy and an honor taking some of their first photographs as a family of five. I got to capture her big brothers’ first glimpse of their tiny baby sister, and it was memorable, to say the least. Also, how stunning is her mama, Savannah, just after having a baby? She is even more beautiful on the inside — a truly genuine soul who is the kind of person everyone would want to have as their friend. Her boys and new little lady are so blessed to have her as their mama.  Welcome to the world, Anna Blair! You are so loved.

Shelley’s Maternity Session – Peachtree Corners | Atlanta Maternity Photographer

When a family nicknames their baby-to-be “Apple Pie,” you know they’re going to be fun people. Once I found out this tidbit, I couldn’t help but refer to baby as that and giggled every time. This was my first time meeting the M family, and they couldn’t have been more lovely. I have gotten to shoot more maternity sessions the past several months, and I’ve loved having the opportunity to capture this time of waiting and anticipation for couples (and in this case, a little girl who was being promoted to big sister). She was an active little thing and reminded me so much of my own daughter, which made the session infinitely more fun. I am so looking forward to meeting baby sister for their newborn session next week!

Emma’s 1 Year Milestone Session – Smyrna | Atlanta Childrens Photographer

I’ve been friends with this darling girl’s mama since early on in my college years, and it’s been so wonderful watching she and her husband become parents for the first time. My daughter is exactly a year older than Emma, and I can only hope that they’ll grow up to be friends like we are. They’re just good people… and you can never have too many good people in your life. We had fun chasing Emma around the park for her one year photo session in September, but I think Daisy had the most fun licking icing off her hands during her cake smash. 😉 Enjoy some favorites from her milestone session!

Sadie Kate’s 3 Year Milestone Session – Roswell | Atlanta Childrens Photographer

Oh, those blonde curls! I know a lot of ladies (including myself) who would just love to have a head of hair like Sadie Kate’s, but I digress… she just turned 3 in August, so we did a slightly belated 3 year photo session with her parents at my favorite spot in the Atlanta area. It was surprisingly empty the morning we shot, and it was one of the first days of nice, somewhat cool weather in the early fall. We had fun just wandering the park and chatting… my favorite way to do a session! It’s hard to believe these friends of mine have a daughter who is well into her toddler years already… and what a pleasure it is to have the honor of documenting it.
