Lucy turned one not too long ago… but long enough that it was still warm enough to wear these darling little outfits in September. 😉 It’s always so fun to see my client families as they grow, and these two girls are no exception. Those little leg rolls of Lucy’s just kill me. I also absolutely love how Emily styled her family — neutral with a nice touch of girlyness (is that a word?) that will look timeless for years to come. We had such a great time shooting at this gem of a location in Buckhead… you’d never know that they all off to work and daycare right after this! When one of your best friends has a baby, it’s simply the best. Blakely was born just two days before my own birthday, so I’m thrilled to share a birth month with this sweet babe. She has beautiful skin and the most perfectly pouty little lips. And I’m more than obsessed with that wallpaper in her nursery! Her big brother is the absolute best (he’s also my daughter’s little boyfriend/best bud), and I have all the heart eyes for these sweet sibling shots of them. In this profession, there’s really nothing better than getting to document the most important milestones for some of my favorite people.

Meet Palmer! I think I mentioned recently that in the midst of the fall rush, I haven’t had time to blog much, so I have a little catching up to do. Palmer was born this summer, and his parents requested doing his newborn session when he was a little older and more alert. So we waited until about 7 weeks, and this little cutie was bright eyed and bushy tailed the whole time. 🙂 The shots we got of him snuggling into his mama’s chest just melt me… especially that close-up of his little smirk! Baby sister Evie joined her family back in the summer, but it’s been so crazy around here that I’m just catching up on all the newborn sessions we had over the past couple months. She was such an angel during their in-home session, and I can’t get over how sweet big sis Leona was with her. And their puppy sisters — just look at that family photo below! This sweet family deserves all the happiness in the world, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to document their growth over the past few years. Enjoy this peek into their newborn session.

Last month, I teamed up with a lovely client of mine to do a day of mini sessions for families from her son’s preschool. We started out bright and early on a beautiful Saturday morning that actually felt more like fall than it has recently. I loved the way the sun streamed through the trees in the park for those first few sessions… it just has such a pretty quality to it. It was so much fun getting to meet so many new families, including my client’s in-laws, who came to take photos with their sweet grandson. These mini sessions couldn’t have been a better start to the busy fall season!
