M Family Session – Garrard Landing Park | Atlanta Family Photographer

This family is near and dear to my heart, and every time I see Ellis, I just can’t get over how stinking cute he is. He had more hair at 6 months old than my daughter did at two years! He is always so happy and has such a fun personality, just like his mama and daddy (who happen to be some of my most favorite people ever). He’s definitely in for a lifetime of golf and baseball just like his dad, and I loved including their shared interests in some of their photos. He’s going to have quite the golf swing in a few years! 🙂

Christmas Cuties – Buckhead | Atlanta Family Photographer

These two in their matching plaid outfits could not have been any cuter for their Christmas mini session. I mean, how adorable is that red bonnet? And the bow on her bloomers? Little sis was also wearing her mama’s shoes from when she was a baby. Gah, so sweet. We’re spending the week celebrating Christmas with my family and then my husband’s family, and we have so much to be thankful for this year (and for what’s to come in 2019!). I hope you all have a wonderful holiday!

Winn Park Mini Session Highlights | Atlanta Family Photographer

It was a brisk fall morning for my mini sessions in Midtown, but you can’t beat beautiful lighting (just check out the sun streaming through the trees toward the end of this post!), lush greenery, the most darling families… and a chihuahua in a sweater. I love seeing my clients return year after year for these fun little sessions — and then getting to see my images on their holiday cards that are sent out to loved ones. We had a lot of fun that morning, and it was hard to narrow down just a few favorites from each family’s session to share, but here they are!

Vinings Polo Fields Session | Atlanta Family Photographer

Beautiful morning light, sweet sisters, and friendly horses who wanted to join us for some photos… what a perfect session. What’s even more fun is that when we arrived at the polo fields, I realized that big sister used to be in my daughter’s little gym class. I loved getting to meet her family and capturing her adorable little smiles, which were plentiful. These horses came over to the fence just as we were finishing up, and the girls were giddy, if not a little timid, about meeting them, and I love the shots we got of them together. I just wish we’d had some carrots!

Extended Family Session – Garrard Landing Park | Atlanta Family Photographer

At the head of this extended family is the most kind, warm-hearted man. His daughter wanted to give him a family photo session with his kids and grand babies, so that’s just what we did. It was absolutely freezing the morning we shot these, but they did a great job snuggling up, keeping warm, and showing off some genuine smiles. I just love the photos we got of Greg and his three precious grandchildren, and I hope they are something he will cherish forever.
