Lenox Park Family Session | Atlanta Family Photographer

When Nancy contacted me about a session for the fall, she wanted to get some photos of her little family before they welcome their next addition, a baby boy, in a couple months. I love that she wanted to document their family as it is before life changes, and I had the best time getting to know them while we wandered around Lenox Park. It was a cloudy, cool day and the park was mostly deserted, which was a nice surprise. Their daughter was the absolute cutest and was such a ham for the camera — any photographer’s dream. Best wishes to the S family on their next adventure!

NW Atlanta Session Highlights | Atlanta Family Photographer

I photographed these two families earlier in the fall… back when the weather was still quite warm and the trees at my favorite in-town park were green. 🙂 I love the sun flare sneaking into the side of the first photo of Jackie and her family, and I also absolutely adored the way she styled them for their photos… classic with a fun little pop of red here and there for the holidays. And that Esther’s cutie pie smile is just too much!

Speaking of cutie pies, Miss Evie (in our second set of photos below) was nothing but smiles for me the entire session, and I couldn’t have loved it more. I hadn’t seen her since her newborn session a couple years prior, so it was really fun to see her parents again and get to know her a bit as a toddler. What a smart, joyous little girl she is! I so enjoyed these two sessions, and it was a great way to kick off the busy season.

Extended Family Session – NW Atlanta | Atlanta Family Photographer

I adore this entire extended family so darn much! Renee and Brian are close friends of ours, and they’ve asked me to do an extended family session with Renee’s sister and her kiddos, as well as the grandparents, for going on 5 years now. This is always one of my favorite sessions of the season. With six kids of varying ages (including a set of twins), it’s never a boring experience, but I really think that the more kids there are, the better behaved they are! These cousins are happy, sweet, and funny, and the older girls always have suggestions for poses. 🙂 I’m just sad that we were missing Renee’s sister this year due to an illness… but we certainly got some frame-worthy shots of her three babies in her absence. Enjoy some favorites from this extended family session!

Sadie Kate is 4! – NE Atlanta | Atlanta Family Photographer

Fall sessions are complete, so now it’s time to do some catching up on the blog! I have been photographing these friends and their darling blue-eyed daughter since she was 3 months old. It’s hard to believe Sadie Kate is now four! She’s such a sweet, smart kid, and I can never get enough of those beautiful blonde curls when I see her. And how sweet is that shot of her holding onto daddy, looking over his shoulder? These are the kid of images that I think parents will look back on so fondly when their little ones are grown.

Cora is ONE – Buckhead | Atlanta Family Photographer

Cora turned one this fall, and I was honored to be asked to photograph this milestone session for her family. I met her sweet parents and fur siblings when we shot her mama’s maternity session last year, and then they graciously invited me into their home to document their new addition to the family when Cora was born. It’s never lost on me when my clients choose me. Whether it’s a maternity session filled with anticipation and excitement for what’s to come, a newborn session full of raw emotion and love for a couple’s brand new baby, or a fun first birthday session that usually involves a lot of chasing a new walker… I’m always happy that my clients have chosen me to document their milestones and memories for their families. This little lady has the most infectious smile, and I couldn’t get enough of it during our session. Happy belated first birthday, Miss Cora!
