Now Booking Fall 2018 Mini Sessions | Atlanta Family Photographer

It’s hard to believe, but it’s already time to start thinking about your family’s fall photo session! I am offering a selection of dates and locations to cater to my clients in and around the Atlanta area. Each of these spots will offer beautiful backdrops for your family’s holiday portraits.
Who are Fall Mini Sessions good for?
Mini Sessions are meant to be quick and easy! If you just want to get a few great photos for your annual holiday cards, a Mini Session will be perfect for you. Or if you’ve had regular family sessions with me throughout the year, this is a great option for a quick update in beautiful fall weather (here’s hoping Atlanta weather cooperates and brings us some fall foliage early on this year!). I am also offering full one-hour Family Sessions throughout the fall, but availability will be limited. If you want a more personalized session for you and your family with a variety of poses or feel that a full hour will be needed to give your little ones time to run and play and just be their silly selves in between (and during) photos, then this is what you’ll need. See the PRICING page for more information on regular family sessions.

Mommy + Me Mini with Christen | Atlanta Family Photographer

You may remember that I gave away a couple of complimentary Mommy + Me Mini Sessions in the spring… well, Christen was the other beautiful mama who received one! She was nominated by a mutual friend who had nothing but the kindest, most inspiring things to say about her. With her permission, I wanted to share some of her story, as told by our friend who nominated her: “Christen is a loving wife and mother and is an amazingly tough cancer fighter. Originally diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012, she had a lumpectomy and radiation at the time. She is currently fighting stage IV metastatic breast cancer, with the most positive and inspiring attitude. She and her husband David have been married for 18 years, and they have a precious 2.5 year old son, Deakin. Christen is an inspiration to me because she openly shares her story with those around her and also always has the most positive attitude. I know these photos will be cherished forever!”

It was an absolute honor to meet this strong, inspiring woman and her beautiful family. We added on some extra family photos at the end of their session, and I hope these will be something they cherish and value for years to come. Experiences like this truly are one of the biggest reasons why I love what I do. I set out to just give away a special mini session to a deserving mom this past spring, and I ended up being introduced to two amazing, completely different, and very deserving mothers who I am in absolute awe of. I am humbled and honored to be the one to document this sweet time in their lives.

Jack, One Year | Atlanta Family Photographer

This little munchkin turned one in May, and I hadn’t seen him (in person, at least) since we shot his newborn session… so needless to say, he’d changed quite a bit. 🙂 His mama said he was on the move, and she was not kidding! But I always like a challenge, and he loved the wooden toys I brought along to entertain him. Enjoy some highlights from his one year milestone session! Also — stay tuned for Fall 2018 Mini Session info coming soon!

Brewer, 6 Months Old | Atlanta Family Photographer

Brewer is named in honor of his mama’s maiden name, and I think it’s such a cool, unique choice for this little guy. I hadn’t seen him since his newborn session back in November, so I was really excited to get together for his 6 month milestone photos to see how much he’d grown and how parenthood had been treating Elizabeth and Hunter. He looks so much like his daddy, and he is just the sweetest bundle of smiles and blue eyes. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again — this age is one of my favorites to photograph. Babies are just starting to get their personalities and are usually full of smiles… and they can’t run away from me (and the camera) yet! I can’t wait to see how much he grows in the next 6 months… stay tuned for his one year session coming later this fall!

Happy Birthday, Coleman | Atlanta Family Photographer

Coleman turned one in April (I’m a little behind on blogging), and he is just the cutest little doll. I mean, doesn’t he look like he could be straight out of a sweet children’s book? Anna has been a dear friend of mine since the start of college — we lived right next to each other in our all girls dorm Freshman Year. For years now, we have been going to monthly dinners with several of our girlfriends who also lived on our hall — isn’t that so cool that we not only all ended up in the same area, but are still such good friends after all this time? It’s been so fun watching Anna and Joseph become parents this past year. They have shared their love of travel with Coleman, and I’m sure he’s going to have a lifetime of great adventures to look forward to with them. I also love that Anna brought along a bottle of champs to toast to Coleman’s first year… why have I never thought of that?! Cheers to them for not only surviving but thriving during their first year as parents!
