Next up, a new (to me) spot this fall! This sprawling green space is definitely not new to many photographers in the area, as evidenced by the large amounts of people shooting there each time I went this fall (ha!), but these days, it’s hard to find a true hidden gem unless it’s private property. So we deal with it and work around the dozens of other families also having their fall photos done… and you’d never know from these photos that there was anyone in sight! I fell in love with this place the second I got there while scouting locations earlier this summer. I love that you can shoot in a small garden, move over to an old barn, and then take a quick walk through the woods to the most massive field of tall grasses and random wild flowers. And if you go the opposite direction from these spots, there’s the most stunning old oak tree and more tall grasses as far as the eye can see. A photographer’s dream. Then you can grab shakes at Freddy’s across the street — the perfect bribe to get those kiddos and husbands smiling! 🙂
