Drew’s Newborn Session – Decatur | Atlanta Newborn Photographer

It’s an absolute pleasure to introduce our dear friends Courtney and Joey’s first baby, their son Andrew, who will be known as Drew. I’ve said it before, but I cannot describe the joy and honor I feel when friends and family choose me to document their happiest moments in life — and a newborn baby tops them all! I’m thrilled that we’ll have a little one of our own who is will less be than 6 months younger than Drew. It’s going to be so fun watching them grow up together.
And I couldn’t help but include the last photo… big sister Bailey gave us a good laugh with her funny pose. Gotta love puppy children!

Meyers’ Newborn Session – Buckhead | Atlanta Newborn Photographer

Can you believe that head of hair on little miss Meyers? She was the sweetest during her newborn session last month, and her puppy sibling just adored her and had a field daysniffing  sniffing all of my props. 🙂 I love when clients ask to include their fur babies in sessions, because I firmly believe that they’re family, too. Enjoy!

Harris’ Newborn Session – Alpharetta | Atlanta Newborn Photographer

What a happy, sleepy baby Mr. Harris was during his newborn session! His mom Alison and I were college sorority sisters, and I don’t think I’ve seen her since we graduated (almost 10 years ago!). It was so fun to meet her growing family and photograph this darling little guy. Big Brother Quinn was quite the trooper, too — especially when promised a snack once he was done! 🙂

Carter’s Newborn Session – Woodstock | Atlanta Newborn Photographer

Little Mr. Carter and his nursery were just too cute for words during his session last month. He was so tiny, yet had such a full head of hair and was so alert! Mom and dad were overjoyed with their new bundle, and it was an absolute pleasure documenting this special time for them.

Baby Awsumb’s Newborn Session – Old Fourth Ward | Atlanta Newborn Photographer

After meeting Kate and Brian at their maternity session, I knew we were in for more excitement once baby Awsumb arrived. They are easily one of the most fun couples I’ve had the pleasure of working with, and what a great way to start off 2015! It was so neat getting to not only document this new family of 3 (plus Waldo!), but being able to include Kate’s parents, who were in town from Minnesota to meet their beautiful granddaughter. We had a ball pulling out random props (like Kate’s tennis racket) as well as more sentimental items (like Brian’s “it’s a girl!” hat and each of their childhood stuffed animals) to add some personality and meaning to their photos. Also, this is the first time I’ve ever had a client put on an impromptu guitar performance during our session! I think it’s pretty easy to see the pure joy beaming from both of their faces. Congratulations, Awsumb family!
