Perry Family Session – Park Studios | Atlanta Family Photographer

When one of my friends and fellow Atlanta photographers, Jenny, asked me to photograph her family at Park Studios recently, I happily obliged! I have been dying to work in this new space in Buckhead, and what a better opportunity than with another photographer friend? Jenny styled her family beautifully (the boys’ outfits are from Zara), and we had so.much.fun. playing in the studio space. The lighting is simply stunning, and the white floors and walls make for the most perfect blank slate of a backdrop. The boys had plenty of room to run (or crawl) and play with their wooden toys that Jenny brought, and I was able to capture gorgeous images without stopping to pose them very often. I highly recommend considering this studio space for clients who want bright, classic, and timeless portraits.  Really… how could you ever grow tired of seeing classic photos like these displayed in your home? Thank you, Park Studios, for allowing us to use your beautiful space for this family session!

Smith Family – Woodstock | Atlanta Family Photographer

A warm summer morning at a new shooting location in Woodstock amidst kayakers, hikers, and fishermen made for a fun mini session with the Smith family. I love watching siblings interact in front of the camera, and these three were no exception. These sisters are sweet as pie and warmed right up to me when they arrived. Little brother took a little longer to feel comfortable, but he he had the cutest little smile and was right at home in mom and dad’s arms. Middle sister is known as “the wild one,” and I’d believe it after her little solo hike up the rocky path to “go exploring up the mountain.” Such a cutie with no shortage of personality. 🙂 I adored the girls’ matching bows and dresses and their obvious love for their little brother. What a lucky guy he is! Enjoy these woodsy summer session highlights.

Barrett’s 4 Month Milestone Session – Atlanta | Atlanta Childrens Photographer

It’s always fun when you find out that you have a connection to new clients through a friend or contact. Barrett’s mom Christina went to Auburn, which is where my husband went as well, so we had fun chatting during their session. Barrett was such a trooper in the chilly weather, and his parents couldn’t have been sweeter. I look forward to seeing the W family again for his 8 month session early next year!

Landry’s 1 yr Milestone Session – Smyrna | Atlanta Childrens Photographer

I so enjoyed getting to photograph our good friends’ family for my first session back after having our baby girl last month. Miss Landry turns 1 this week, and her big brother Chase just turned 3 last week, so they have had lots to celebrate! The birthday girl was NOT.A.FAN. of the cake smash when we got started, but once her mom fed her some cake, she decided it wasn’t so bad after all! Such a cutie pie. I love those big eyes and constant smile she has. I look forward to watching her grow up and become friends with our little one!

Sadie Kate’s 1 yr Milestone Session – Johns Creek | Atlanta Childrens Photographer

I’ve been friends with Sadie Kate’s parents for many years now, and it’s been such a pleasure getting to photograph her milestone sessions every 3 months for this first year of her life. It’s hard to believe she’s already ONE! Miss SK has so much personality, and I just could not get enough of those hilarious faces she made during our session. One thing I learned, though, is that she is NOT a fan of cake icing!! I love the outtake at the end — she was reaching for daddy to get her out of that mess!
Happy 1st birthday, Sadie Kate! You are so loved!
