Leighton’s Splish Splash Session – Vinings | Atlanta Children’s Photographer

Splish splash… I couldn’t resist photographing Leighton taking a bath! We are about to start renovating our master bathroom, which includes replacing our soaking tub with a large glass shower (eek — so very excited about this!). We haven’t ever bathed Leighton in this tub, but the room has great natural light, and I had been picturing this sweet scene in my mind for months. So before my husband takes a sledgehammer to our bathroom, we gave our sweet girl an afternoon bubble bath, complete with rubber duckies. I’m so excited to offer this option to my clients for their little ones’ mini milestone sessions this year, too!

Barefoot Twins’ 1 Year Milestone Session – Smyrna | Atlanta Family Photographer

It’s not often that I get to photograph twins, and I’ve so enjoyed seeing how much Abby and Austin have grown since their newborn session last November. They have so much personality now, and they were just as sweet and cute as can be at their 1 year smash cake session! I couldn’t believe how much they enjoyed their cupcakes — especially Austin! We laughed because just minutes before the got to dig in, one of their parents made the comment that Abby would probably be the messy one… and boy, was it quite the opposite! By the time we finished, Austin looked like a blue Smurf. So funny! Here’s to another wonderful year filled with double the laughter, adventure, and joy!

Barrett’s 4 Month Milestone Session – Atlanta | Atlanta Childrens Photographer

It’s always fun when you find out that you have a connection to new clients through a friend or contact. Barrett’s mom Christina went to Auburn, which is where my husband went as well, so we had fun chatting during their session. Barrett was such a trooper in the chilly weather, and his parents couldn’t have been sweeter. I look forward to seeing the W family again for his 8 month session early next year!

Leighton’s Fall Mini Session

Oh how I love having a sweet doll baby of my own to test out props and do mini sessions with!
I adore this knit pumpkin hat for newborn sessions. The Viking hat was a gift from a coworker, and it’ll make an adorable prop for older milestone sessions.

Leighton is going to be a cupcake for her first Halloween because throughout my pregnancy I joked that she might come out as a cupcake or donut due to the number of desserts I ate. Thankfully she did not! 🙂 I found the sweetest knit hat on Etsy and paired it with a brown onesie as the “cake” portion of the cupcake. I hope everyone has a fun, spooky, safe Halloween this weekend!

Sadie’s 18 month Milestone Session – Marietta | Atlanta Childrens Photographer

I’ve been shooting Miss Sadie’s milestone portraits since she was just 3 months old — and now she’s a year and a half! It’s amazing how quickly time has flown by. I just adore her little blonde pig tails and her adorable smile. She had a great time picking up leaves, tossing her mom’s pumpkins like bowling balls, and “reading” her books for us. Childhood is so sweet, and I’m thankful to have a job that allows me to capture these moments for families like Sadie’s!
